Lorna Shore, 2025 North America Tour at Fillmore Auditorium
Lorna Shore at Fillmore Auditorium, Denver Colorado 10/24/2025
Deathcore royalty Lorna Shore brought hell to the Mile High on their 2025 North American tour, leveling Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium with a blistering headline set. Backed by a brutally stacked lineup; Oklahoma slam fiends Peeling Flesh, symphonic deathcore titans Shadow Of Intent, and the ever-untouchable The Black Dahlia Murder. This stop turned into a full-blown clinic in extremity. Check out our full photo gallery and coverage from a night where the blast beats never quit and the pits stayed violent.
Peeling Flesh
From Oklahoma City/Tulsa, Peeling Flesh is a wild new entrant into the slam/brutal death metal world, forming circa 2021. Their approach is unapologetically heavy: groove‑laden slam riffs, hardcore breakdowns and an all‑out assault on convention. Not yet legacy status—but they’re carving their lane fast, making them the perfect opener for a stacked death‑metal night.
Shadow of Intent
Formed in Connecticut around 2013/2014 as a studio project by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman, Shadow of Intent blends crushing deathcore with orchestral and symphonic flourishes. Their concept‑driven albums (early themes included video‑game inspired “Halo” backdrops) evolved into darker, more personal narratives of war and despair making them one of deathcore’s most ambitious acts.
The Black Dahlia Murder
Since forming in Waterford, Michigan in 2001, The Black Dahlia Murder has been a foundational force in American melodic death metal tapping into Scandinavian influences, extreme speed, and horror‑tinged songwriting. Their name references the infamous 1947 unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short (“Black Dahlia”), underscoring the band’s dark aesthetic. Even after lineup upheavals (and the passing of founding vocalist Trevor Strnad), they returned stronger with new material and a renewed fire.
Lorna Shore
Hailing from Warren County, New Jersey, Lorna Shore emerged around 2009/2010 and has since become a force in modern deathcore and blackened deathcore. With albums like Pain Remains and I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me, they’re known for sweeping symphonic touches, ultra‑deep gutturals, and bigger‑than‑life breakdowns that twist metal’s expectations. Their current lineup features vocalist Will Ramos, guitarists Adam De Micco & Andrew O’Connor, bassist Michael Yager and drummer Austin Archey.
